Low Budget Slot Strategy

I’ve noticed that YouTube slot channels are betting higher and higher amounts trying to outdo each other for views. No longer are low budget slot channels even remotely interesting after you watch someone bet $1000 or more per spin. Despite the large amounts, by the end of the video they always seem to win more than they put in the machine. In reality, anyone that goes into a casino expecting to duplicate these antics is going to get crushed.

Another problem is that slot machines are trying to turn everyone into a high roller. Available wagers on newer machines start at .80 and go up to 6.00 or more per spin. You can still find a few machines that start at .50 and go up to 3.00 per spin. These are the machines I’m looking for. My strategy used to be betting $1.50 per spin or 3x. On some newer machines a 3x wager might cost $2.40 per spin. With a budget of only a few hundred dollars, this would quickly deplete my bankroll.

The last two times I went to the casino, I went looking for machines that had a $1 or $1.20 2x bet level. I would put $100 in and spin until I either lost $20, came back to even, or made a profit over $20. If I came out $30 or more ahead, I would pocket the profit and look for another machine to start the process over again with a $100 bill. If I hit a bonus or free spins at that bet level, the payout is usually between $18 and $48. This is often enough to get back to even or get the small profit that I’m looking for.

After trying this strategy on my last two casino visits, I was able to leave with a $60 profit each time and never had to reach for my second $100 bill. I’m letting the money determine how long I play. When I reach at least $60 profit, I stop playing. Sometimes this results in a short gambling session. On the first trip, it took about 90 minutes. On the second trip it took only 30 minutes. I then like to get a free fountain drink and walk around a bit. I live only 5 miles away from a casino, so a short visit isn’t a problem. If you live further away, you probably want to play longer. But the longer you play the more likely it is that the casino will get some or all of your money.
