A lot has changed since the last time I was in Vegas almost 30 years ago. The hotels are bigger, but the party atmosphere is still the same. We stayed at the Tuscany Resort & Casino, which is about a quarter mile from Bally’s on Flamingo Road. We visited 24 casinos and many of the popular attractions. The Fremont Street Experience was amazing. The only thing that could have made the trip better was if I had won some money. This year has been a total bust, both at the horse tracks and the casinos. The Vegas trip was my last attempt at a comeback. Now I’m going to take a break from gambling for a while.
